Basic Instructions of Poker
The game of poker has been around for centuries and is well known for having poker online and casino poker. Tournaments are also a popular thing. To play poker you must know the phrases of poker when gambling your money.
Ante - in poker means that in some poker games you must place a bet in the game. You might have heard of it being said as “Ante Up”.
All-In - means their gambling all their chips on one hand.
Blind - is a phrase that manes the betting will start from the dealers left. There is a small blind and large blind. Small blind is half of the other.
Call - means that the current bet matches the type of bet played.
Check - means that is passes the betting on to the next player.
Community Cards - is mainly found in Texas Hold’em and Omaha Poker and the cards are shared dealt face up.
Flop - is the revealing of the first three cards.
No Limit - is where there is no limit on the betting.
Pocket Cards - are the first or the four cards that are dealt to you in poker.
The Pot - is how much is in the betting pool.
Raise - is when they player bets more.
The River - is when the last community card is revealed.
Split Pot - is when two players have the same hand at the end they split what’s in the pot.
The Turn - is when the fourth community card is revealed in the game.
